Hi everyone.  First time poster. Thanks in advance for your patience.  I'm trying to figure out a problem. I hooked up a differential receiver to my F48 with 4 x 5v 50 pixel stands, and rest test patterns on the F48.  2 strands work fine, while the others either go all different colors,or flash randomly. If I change to 12v however and plug in 4 x 12v 100 pixel strands, they all work perfectly.  I've tried it with 5 different receiver now, all yielding similar results. Any ideas?  The 5v power supply btw is rated to 60 amps, and I've had it power 16 strands no problem, so I've eliminated that as a possible cause.

Thanks in advance for your help!

It sounds to me like the low drop voltage regulator used on the receive board may have issues or that maybe standard 78 series regulators got used somehow. I nice closeup of the board might be able to identify whether the right regulator is in use and if it is will give a heads up as to where to measure to confirm the output voltage is close to 5V.
Just check that your power supply is close to 5.0V at the board. If it happens to be significantly lower then that could be why you have issues.
