I have a custom model of 50 pixels. I have is setup as follows
1,2,3,4,5,5,5,6,7,8,9,10,10,10,11,12,13,14,15,15,15,16,17,18,19,20,20,20,21,22,23,24,25,25,25,26,27,28,29,30,30,30,31,32,33,34,35,35,35,36, then i made 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 as sub models
I sequence it and in house and model preview it does what a want.
When i run the seq. on FPP and my F16V3 only pixel 5,10,15,20,25,20,35 light up.
I was able to get it to work by using virtual strings in the F16v3.
Is there an easier way to group individual pixel in a sting to act as one?

I do not think I understand your question.

Can you show your layout in xlights screen

Fergbot

I can when i get home form work.
What i have is these christmas candy stings that no longer worked. I removed the old lights from them.
I have 7 of the that i put on a 50 pixel string. so pixel 1,2,3,4 are outside of the candy, i put pixel 5,6,7 inside the candy, then 8,9,10,11 outside, then the next 3 inside a candy. I did this 7 times.

I grouped the pixels outside of the candies as one group, and each candy,(3 pixels) as there own groups.
that way i can seq. the pixels outside of the candies with a different effect then the candies.

I want the 3 pixels inside the candy to act as one pixel.

I am not sure if that will actually work, Why not make each Outside section and Candy cane it's own model (so 14 models) and then you can put all of the Outside models in a group and the Candy Canes in a group and then just sequence on each group?

If to err is human, I am more human than most people.
