Curious if anyone has heard of using a stage truss lift for a megatree. https://store.creativestagelighting.com/item/TE-06/VMB-TE-06/   Doubt I would pull the trigger, but just a little curious. Thanks!

I "might be" tempted if I did indoor displays (for money), but I would never put that outdoors.

My megatree is on a telescoping flag pole. 20 strings, 17ft long strings. I get my son to help and we just raise each segment and pin in place as it goes up. It is definitely a 2 or 3 person job. It is a Sunsetter flagpole, aluminum, and needs strong guy wires to survive storms.

Boy, there are proud of that device!  Way more money than I would spend on it.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

Let's see.
Max lift height - 16.4 feet.
Max lift weight - 275 pounds.
Tare weight - 71 pounds.
Required budget = $942.61 (stand only)

I do like the locking mechanism, which is really needed in its stated purpose.
Can't tell by the image, but it might be an internal cable system.  Nice.

Is it worth the price?  Not for me.  I can do a lot with $942.61, including a 26' pole able to handle a good sized (a.k.a., 32 strand) mega tree - with lights!

BTW - an ASAP Jr. pole does 16.4 feet, plus a bit more.  (http://www.magicchristmas.org/asap-jr.html)
