Hi ,

Do any of you know what video encoding works best for BBB Falcon Layer version 6.0.2 for hdmi output to a projector.  With the lack of availability of RPi's I purchased 3 BBB units.  I have managed to get the player installed and connected to my network but can's seem to get smooth video output to the projectors hdmi interface.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  I was using handbrake to re-encode purchased videos from atmosfx.

Thanks in advance everyone.

Nothing very complex.   Likely straight mp4 at 640x480 would be about it.  The beagle doesn't have hardware decoder support in VLC so it's all software, and the single core 12 year old processor cannot handle much on that front either.
