This is what i have: Brand new ready to go Falcon F16v4 and i want to use xlights.  i have 12 Lightorama boxes v1 and v2.  Some v3's.   Here is what i want to do.  I want to run the LOR's off 1 connection. and this year i wanted to add some pixels (3 singing faces and a small matrix) to the show. need step by step instructions on how to make this happen.  i also want to use Lightorama Easy Light Linkers.  Please help!

Do your own research, but to the best of my knowledge you will not be able to use the ELLs with the Falcon.  I believe they only support the LOR protocol, which the Falcon does not.  Looking it does appear that xlights now supports the LOR protocol, and you might be able to use your LOR USB adaptor with the ELLs and older equipment that does not support DMX.  If your LOR controllers support DMX, they will connect to the DMX port on the Falcon.

To do that, You will have to use the LOR to DMX conversion chart
https://www1.lightorama.com/Documents/DMX-DOC.pdf

Your going to want to place the Falcon's third serial port in LOR mode.  LOR and DMX use different wiring pinouts, and the jumpers will correct this so that a you may use a standard network cable.  DO NOT plug live ethernet feeds into the serial ports, or serial connections into the ethernet ports.  They both use standard network cables, but you can fry the ports if you cross them.

You will need to configure a universe on the Falcon to receive the DMX addresses, and then assign the universe to the serial outputs on port 3.  You can also continue to use LOR software with the Falcon to run the pixels.

Good Luck!
