Yes i went with drivers used from F16v1. I would expect 15 ft for single nodes and 25 ft for strips. I would not bank on 50ft. for either F16-B or F16v2.

Looks like I did a typo in my last message, I meant 50 feet (not 5) and it looks like you knew what I meant.

Will the Falcon v1 still be available? It looks to be a much cheaper solution than the v2 if its capabilities fit what I need.

Yes they are.

There aren't any in the store. I suppose v1 will be available at the same time as the v2 when it comes out?

I have a few boards. I will run a coop for those that are interested soon.

Wow! Amazing job Sean. The manual for the 682 states that gamma correction is only applied in certain configurations and I have confirmed it via testing. So that cell in your grid should be a qualified yes.

As for the firmware upgrade, the Zeus probably should be listed as Not On Board.  There is no ISPC header on the Zeus and the PIC's need to be removed from the board to be flashed.  You can also use a Pickit-2 to flash them if you are still lucky enough to have one.

I have added controllers from RonP to the RGB Controller web page.

RonP makes 4 controllers 8,16,32,64 universe boards.
Assembled his controllers are (I made up part numbers for them "Ronp-32" for example)
Ronp-64: $105
Ronp-32: $85
Ronp-16: $65
Ronp-8: Assembled 8 universe controller not available, you can buy the bare board for $4

He runs his group buys here

I believe you also need to install daughter boards on Ron's boards depending on whether you want to use them for pixels or led panels or....  Did you factor in those costs?

Romp sent me spreadsheet that had these costs. I'll ask him what it covers

Great.  I want to do the same for his support of LED panels since I am doing a presentation at the regional C.L.A.P. meeting in a couple months and want to  be able to list his options as well as the Octoscroller and FPP.

Doesn't the E682 do native DMX as well as Renard?

David Pitts

Yes, and it is listed in the comparison.
