Snap to timing marks any way to do it after initial insert

when you drop an effect into it automatically sizes and snaps to the timing marks at each end however if you then grab the right edge for example and drag out to cover multiple timing marks there seems no way to snap to other timing marks

Have I missed something or is this a feature request?
