Need help from someone who knows FPP and scripts. I'm using Halloween as a test right now to figure out executing scripts on remotes before Christmas. I currently have two remotes, a Pi and BBG. Both are running their respective part of the light show flawlessly, syncing with the Master Pi.I have both systems plugged into a timer. In order to avoid data corruption, I'm ending the schedule about a half hour before the timer cuts power. The Master is triggering the shutdown script as planned, but only on the Pi. The following is the script I have saved on the Master Pi, and each remote has the shutdown script installed and set up identically...

#!/bin/sh
#################################################################
# Remote-TriggerEvent - Trigger an event on a remote system #
#################################################################
# Event Major ID
MAJORID="1"
# Event Minor ID
MINORID="1"
# Modified for multiple device triggers
REMOTEIP="192.168.0.24"
/usr/bin/curl http://${REMOTEIP}/fppxml.php?command=triggerEvent&id=${MAJORID}_${MINORID}
REMOTEIP="192.168.0.22"
/usr/bin/curl http://${REMOTEIP}/fppxml.php?command=triggerEvent&id=${MAJORID}_${MINORID}

The .24 is the BBG, and .22 is the Pi. Last night I had the two IP's swapped and only the Pi shutdown, so I switched the IP's tonight thinking it never tried the second line, but the Pi once again shut down as it should have. So I know it's working for the Pi, and reading all lines within the script.

I have tested and can manually trigger the shutdown script on the remote BBB and it does shutdown.  Just can't trigger it from the Master using the above script.

SOLVED
I finally realized that I didn't have the BBB check marked in the Multi Sync screen.  I'm running a background effect sequence on the matrix, so a true sync with the other lights isn't necessary.  But you still need it selected for syncing in order for the event triggers to be sent.  Trial and error.  :)
