If this formally kicks off a coop, then I'm in for another 6, please.  ;D  |  110K channels, 50K lights  |  Nutcracker, Falcon, DLA, HolidayCoro

What the heck could use a couple more since I haven't used the last ones yet!

You connect an ATX power supply (PC power supply) and it provides 3-12V high current connectors and one 5V connector. Makes it easy to interface a ATX power supply to controllers that do not have ATX power connectors.

One note though that the 5 volt is low current. Will not drive 5 volt strings!!!!

First post! Like the site. Sorry it took so long for me to find it.

I would be in for a few

(1) Can one of these power a Falcon-16 (both sides)?

(2) Can TWO ATX power supplies and TWO of these be used on a single falcon16 if you wanted a lot of power available for each side?  I know it may not be cost effective to do that.

F16 has 2 12v inputs, so yes you could use 2 of the atx boards

1 atx board is also possible, both side would use the load from the ps

rdebolt used one to power a single Falcon 16. I think he had Falcon 16 fully populated and had no issues.

That is correct.  I used 1 700 watt ATX per Falcon 16 times 2 for my megatree.

Maybe we should do another coop?

So are you going to do a coop or not?  Seems like a lot of interest.
