It appears that most people are recommending (and using), the SE series of Mean Well power supplies.  However, these are not waterproof, and require housing in an enclosure (which is fine, as they're often housed in the same enclosure as the controllers).

Are there any recommendations for good (Mean Well, or other), quality waterproof power-supplies, in the 12V, 300W range?

Mean Well carries a series of "LED Drivers," but I'm not sure if those are suitable for our applications.  Mean Well also has a HEP series, but that seems overkill.  What other specs are important (constant voltage)?

Ideally, I'd like to invest in good power-supplies that I can also use year-round for my general landscape lighting, after my Christmas display is done.
