Tonight I noticed one of my pixels red when it shouldn't be. This pixel is the last pixel in a string of 50. What is usually the cause of a red pixel? My luck on my pixel strings has not been a good one so far this season. I have had to repair 3 strings already in only my 3rd night of running. Thanks

If you have a voltage supply that is adjustable, lower the voltage. Most 12vdc pixels run just fine at 11.5 volts.

I will try that out tomorrow. Everything on that string worked fine until tonight but that doesn't mean that maybe the voltage didn't change on me a little.

I lowered the voltage to 11.5 but I still have the red pixel. My guess is the pixel is going bad. I now have had to repair 4 strings of pixels in my display this year. If this year continues in this way it's going to be a long year for me.
