Is it possible to sequence a show that can be manually advanced (perhaps by mouse click, space bar, etc? I am somewhat new to xlights and am not sure if this is a possibility.

Your question needs a lot of more information for a good answer. Like what do you want to happen between the advancements ( static lights, repeating effects, ETC.)? Also what are you using to run your show (xSchedule, FPP )?

I have started sequencing shows to music using xlights and vixen. But as far as I can tell, these shows must be "timed" (if that makes sense). I'd like to apply my newfound hobby to the theater. I am a director/producer for a high school and would like to run some lights but do it manually. If I knew the music for the musical would always be played at the same tempo, it wouldn't be a problem. Someone suggested I run them through my light board, but it is a great distance from the stage. Just wondering if this is possible without pouring a ton of money into it. Our budget is pretty limited.

Also, I plan on using a falcon f16v3 and will likely need to infuse in several places. The strings and strips will likely exceed 100 nodes.
