Probably a dumb question - I have a few f-16 V2 and V3 and several 27 channel DMX controllers.  In the past I have run the DMX stuff through a bridge (along with my few AC/LOR elements) and run all the DMX daisy chained together. I know the F16 has the ability to run DMX but have never played with it in any way but the F16 controllers are located close to where I would like to use a 27 channel node controller and could save much work and cabling if I could run the 27 channel controller off the F16 instead running back to the bridge or to other DMX stuff.

Again prob a real bone head questions.  Thanks for any feed back of links to places I could learn more about the DMX side of the F16.

I'm doing that "as we speak" from an F16v3.  There is a Serial Outputs section. You set one of the Output ports (far right side, RJ-45 jacks) to be DMX and to be the correct Start channel.  If in Universe 1, set first channel to 1.  Universe 2 would be start channel of 513 (511 if you are using a universe size of 510.

I usually use Port 2 for DMX output since Port 1 can be used for things like Pixelnet. (if you don't know anything about Pixelnet, don't worry about it :)  )
