I am testing my singing trees and have been using the above-mentioned power supply. It has performed well however, after this last batch of testing I managed to spy the voltage selection switch on the side of the supply. The switch has two positions (230v, 115v). It is a slider that can be positioned so that either the 230v or 115v is showing.
Now the question - When 230V is showing does that mean that that is the input selected? It sounds obvious but I have used this with the switch at that setting (I am in the US so I am using 110-120) and have had no problems. Have I just been lucky and should change it?
I would appreciate any input from anyone who has used this supply.

Thanks.

The 110 should be showing.

The regulating circuitry has protected you so far. Since you've been in the 220 setting, the AC voltage being used internally has been 55vac. That forces the internals to work a lot harder. A cheaper (clone) supply would probably have died by now.

If you were supposed to use 220 (many overseas folks), but the switch was 110, then it would not have survived. Smoke time.

Kill power. Disconnect the loads. Move the switch. Power back up and check the voltage. Adjust as needed. Then reconnect your loads.
