Curious... 3 lines in and out?

I believe that the first is data/power in, the second data/power out. What is the third line for?

If it's like my old, abandoned DMX floods, it was a DMX in, DMX out, Power in. 3 cables.
I didn't change it because they were watertight fittings.

Much prefer my new WS2811 floods. Power and data all on one cable in, one cable out.

I have a dozen floods where it is:
cable 1: data-in
cable 2: data-out
cable 3: power in (110vac)

These are great as they each have their own power supply.  They are "not so great" as we cannot find the proper programmer for them.  There are absolutely no markings (inside or out) that give any clue as to which programmer or programing sequence works with them.  We have tried.

Sorry - This is getting away from the main message of this thread.  Just thought "maybe".

Hrm...I've been trying to justify buying more floods, and you're in my city.  You're driving them from the DMX port of the F48, correct?  Are you using Xlights to sequence them?

Kensington, yes Xlights and DMX port F48.
If you here in Mesa come by and look. You will find they all work and a lot of stuff for $300!
