How do I automatically turn on a TV used in my display?

I thought I recalled reading something about this a couple of years ago, and now I can't seem to find an answer -- if I use a TV in my display, and hook up a RasPi to it so it can be used to display video (and other effects), how can I get the TV to turn on automatically when I turn on the power to the display? Let's say I shut off my display power at 10:00pm and turn it back on the next day at 4:30pm - how can I get that TV to turn back on with the rest of the display? I found a couple websites that utilize commands from within a Pi, but if I am using FPP, I don't think I can call those commands, can I?

That would entirely depend on the smarts of your TV.  Does it even have that capability?  Or are you thinking something like having the Pi drive an IR LED and emulate the normal remote control?  Then it would just require finding the correct code sequence for "ON" and "OFF" (and maybe Input select).
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

It's a brand-new 55" Smart TV, so it should work and have those capabilities.

My search fu apparently was not working earlier but I found an answer in the forums. I'm gonna try this post from 2019: https://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php?topic=11175.msg100190#msg100190
