Wanting to change my Halloween setup to be stand alone for next year. I do not know audio stuff very well.  Kulp K4-pb with a Sound Blaster Play 3. Do I need something between the Sound Blaster and the outdoor speakers?

You will need some sort of amplification, an amplifier or powered speakers.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

Thanks

I thought I would need something.

I will see it I can find an amp board of some type.

Might be simpler to get an FM transmitter and an old boombox.  I've even tried using a old car radio and some old speakers, but you do need the transmitter.  One of those small cheap transmitters could work fine, I recall they were around $10 on Amazon.

That is kind of what I have now except using a cheap car radio and speakers instead of the boom box.
