Greetings,
I have a simple single arduino uno that is running LED lights for a single display item using Vixen. I am attempting to divorce this display from my pc using FPP on a pi 4. I have FPP flashed onto an SD card, have the pi connected to my network and have access to the pi and FPP. I have the sequence and mp3 file loaded on the flash drive on the pi. I cannot get the sequence to play though... I suspect I have not setup the output correctly and I am hoping someone can help me figure out what I am screwing up. The arduino is powered up and connected to the pi. The arduino shows up as a usb arduino on the output port selection. The serial speed and header are matched to the arduino sketch but I think I may not be entering the channel count correctly. I would greatly appreciate any assistance that can be provided...thanks in advance for your assistance.

Just to add more information to eliminate excess troubleshooting, if I reconnect the usb line from the pi to my pc, Vixen and the arduino sketch runs the sequence perfectly on the display, so I believe that eliminates any questions regarding the functional status of the sequence, sketch, display or arduino. Thanks again for reading and for your recommendations.

You will need to mirror the controller outputs to be the same as Vixen. Go to FPP tab Input/Outputs and click on Channel Outputs. Setup the same as your Vixen controller layout. Don't forget to click the active box and click save. Reload the player.

Ok Thank you a million times for responding and funny enough I figured this out myself a bit ago and the display is running on FPP... now I have a new small glitch that I have to try to resolve... lag between the music playing from the Pi and the arduino activating the associated portion of the display.... Is there an adjustment for this somewhere? Like an audio buffering delay or something?

Well I have determined I should do just a bit more research before I post simple issues. I found the advanced user interface settings and the media / sequence offset....much much better now.... Thank you all anyway for taking the time to read my post... happy holidays!
