I have a Viewsonic PDJ5132 with RS232 control that I'd like added to the plug-in, if possible.  The User Guide contains the RS232 Command Table beginning on page 66 of the attached PDF.

Thanks for this. I've been traveling a bit for work and on the weekends am getting ready for other pojects and also having to keep up withcutting the grass with all the rain in Denver, CO. I'm going to implement these as quickly as possible. Then also when V1.5 of FPP is out, the plugin should be included so you can install it easily and also update with new projector controls and models as well.

Thanks
Ben

I will try and add these to the plugin soon. You will need a usb serial cable to connect your projector.

Do you have a link to the document you pulled these from?

Trying to avoid purchasing another projector. Here is what I have if you have time to take a look and add the support for it.

Epson EX5200

* listed on the entry(old) sheet if I looked at it correctly.

Thank-you for your work on this project.

I've downloaded the information and will check into it..

Right now when we add a Projector you have to manually update the GIT hub from the command line.

I"ll look into it tonight/tomorrow morning.

HI Scott,

Download and install the 1.5 image
Install the Projector control plugin
Once the projector control plugin is installed
Go to the Projector Control plugin screen, and at the very bottom, click on Update Plugin.

Leave the projector control plugin screen
Go back into the projector control plugin screen
Your projector should appear in the drop down list!

Looking at trying to get Hitachi in :) as long as I can make my USB -> serial work I should be able to add it to the code tonight.

I know quite a few folks have Hitachi's due to some group buys.

Bshaver

No Problem. Yes just get us the codes for the projector, or the manual with the codes.

Pat and I have access to the repository.  Then you can update from the plugin page. I worked out the code to be able to update the plugin code outside of a normal FPP system code update. However; you should update to the latest FPP code (1.5) before using the projector control plugin.

Quick question for you guys, are you using a usb to serial adapter to connect to projector or using the gpio pins on the pi to connect to the projector

Thanks

Right now I'm using a USB-Serial adapter I had, and it is recognized by the PI and FPP (/deb/ttyUSB0)

Still working on getting the projector to work in FPP properly, but, I can echo the commands to the serial adapter and control the on/off/inputs properly.
