Correct, I am not using any expansion boards.  I don't think it makes any difference, but I have just one receiver path plugged in for now (17, 18, 19, 20).

All lights work when I use the receiver test button.

Found it!!  Bad cable between my F16V4 and smart receiver.  Swapped it out with new cable, and everything is working!

Sorry for the bother but thank you so much for checking.  If nothing else, it made me groom and triple-check my entire system.

If they are in zero mode (Normal Mode/Native Mode) the port numbers would be 17,18,19, and 20.  If they are in Smart Receiver A mode the port numbers would be 17a,18a,19a, and 20a.  If they are in Smart Receiver B mode the port numbers would be 17b,18b,19b, and 20b.  The last device in any chain, needs to be terminated.  Termination basically absorbs the remaining energy in the wire, preventing it from turning around and going back (Reflection).  If the data tries to return and head backwards, it can cause ghosting and other undesired results. 

If you are plugging the second Smart Receiver into controller port (RCVR2)... both Smart Receivers should be placed in A mode, and both should be terminated as they are the only device in the chain.  The one plugged into RCVR1 port would be ports 17a,18a,19a, and 20a  The second plugged into RCVR2 would be ports 21a,22a,23a, and 24a.

The onboard RCVR1 and RCVR2 port numbers will vary depending how many expansion boards you installed.  For example, if you are using one expansion board, RCVR1 will be assigned ports 33,34,35, and 36, instead of 17,18,19, and 20.
