Using LOR Lightorama and Falcon Smart Receivers together

Hi, I'm trying to set up my show for this year and my new addition is a smart receiver. I'm still using my 2 LORs connected (through daisy chain) to the 2nd RJ45 jack on the right of the falcon board, but now have added the smart receiver coming from the top RJ45. Unfortunately, I am now seeing conflicts in which both the pixels from the smart receiver and the standard 120v snowflakes coming from my LORs seem to be using the same channels. On the serial outputs screen I previously had the first port set to serial, DMX which seemed to be causing the conflict. So, I changed it to make the third port configured to DMX and all three other ports set to pixel data. Now only the pixels coming from the smart receiver work. Any ideas on what I'm messing up here? Thanks in advance.

There are only 4 serial/dmx outputs.

The top rj45 connecter has all four

The second has #2 and the third has #3

You can not drive all four of the outputs on the differential receiver and LOR

@K-State Fan thank you! If the top rj45 has all 4 dmx outputs and 2nd has #2, 3rd has #3, how do you specify that the differential receiver only drives port 1 and 4 on the diff card? Is it as simple as just not connecting strings to those ports on the diff card?

Different question... But related. Can I run two diff receivers and both LORs?

I have never run that way so I am not sure but that is what i would try just not hook up to port 2 and 3 in the receiver.

What firmware you have on your board will determine if you can run smart receivers off that rj45 I think it was 2.52 that added that.

Documentation for the F16v3 is version 1.02 that discusses firmware 2.0, which came out before smart mode was supported.  According the smart receiver manual the Falcon F16v3 needs to be at firmware 2.50, but honestly the current at 2.59 would make more sense.  I believe there are only 4 channels on all the side ports combined that can be divided different ways.  You will need all four channels for the smart receiver and don't think you can accomplish both the SR and LOR from those ports.

You might be able to add a 4 port differential expansion board to the F16V3 and still use the DMX ports on the side, but the manual does not cover this configuration and I have never tried.  https://pixelcontroller.com/store/products/44-f16v2-differential-expansion-board.html
