Differential Smart Receiver / K128D compatible?

Are the 4-Strings Differential Smart receivers V1.05 compatible with Kulp controllers?
 
K128D-B controller to be specific?

 We download the new Christmas layout and have this particular issue with the first 6 o 8 pixels of every port white lit. Same as we have during the Halloween show and solved by selecting the Smart v1 / 1 Smart Receiver on the K128D cape settings and adjusting the receiver mode DIP sw to off/on (mode A). This time no luck, not find much straightforward info either...

I use all three styles with my Kulp K8-PB. Just have to make sure your FPP setting match what you are using.
