Does FPP and Pi work with Renard protocol or do I need to change my SS16's & 24's to DMX?

CaptainMurdoch

FPP has native support for the Renard protocol, we have quite a few users using it via USB serial dongles attached to the Pi.  How many channels do you have and how many serial outputs do you need?

At preset 104 channels active.  I have enough SS's for 240 total.

OK, you shouldn't have any problems.  Read through the two threads started by FIRECOP252 in this Renard Controllers forum, I think those have good discussions on using Renard with FPP.
