After Sequence all relays come on and stay on

After my Sequence is done playing all the relays come on and stay on. is there a way to stop this from happing? I'm a total newbie at this sorry if i put this in the wrong place, i'm just very frustrated. I have the fpp loaded on the raspberry pi v3 and it is connected to an arduino and that is connected to two relay boards.
and info would be greatly be appreciated.

In FPP Settings, try a Check in the Always Transmit Channel Data box

That may be overkill but it will continue sending data out that could keep your Arduino happy.

Hobbyist relays frequently give two connection options; Fail Open (FO) or Fail Closed (FC). You are using FC so when it loses signal input or power, the contacts are closing. Try the other set?  Of course, that will invert all your sequencing.

Thanks, I tried that but it still stays on. Do i have to make an inverted sequence, and then try this?

I guess you may need to clarify what you mean by "relays come on and stay on"

The only Relay board I've played with is a 4-Relay USB board. It connects to a USB port but communicates as a 4 channel DMX board. (Outputs / Other / USB Relay)

If the FPP is running, even when no data is being sent, all the board lights (LEDs) are on and the Relays are held in their "ON" position.
Depending on how I wired the relay outputs, that is going to be "Open" or "Closed."  When the DMX value sent is 255 (I only send "0" or "255") the relay changes state.

Doesn't get much simpler than that. As far as your Arduino setup, I have no experience.

As long as that board has 5vdc applied to it (VCC and GND), the Relays are going to be energized. Its just the way it is built (pretty standard)
Someone probably makes one that works the other way, or you could modify the circuitry to add an "inverter" to the relay's input.

The inputs on IN1 thru IN4 actually turn "off" the relays.

If you're worried about the relays "burning up" if they stay energized, stop. They are rated for it.

Personally - I'd buy the 8 Relay board from ICStation (see my link). Its about $14, is powered from your Pi's USB output and easily controlled as an 8 channel DMX device.

Now, this will still leave those relays energized as long as the Pi is powered up (since they get their power from the USB)
The 8 Relay board does have a provision for external power. That should reduce the current loading on the Pi.

Could I make one of the GPIO pins to shut off the relays at the end of the sequence? Like in a playlist. I just need the relays to turn off at the end of the sequence because the fog machines are energized until I pull the plug or turn it off the pi.

On the specific relay controlling the Fog Machine, you should "Move the Wire"

Each relay has 3 screw terminals. You have one on the center terminal and one either Right or Left of center.
Leave the center wire. Move the other. Now your Fog Machine will be OFF until you specifically turn it ON.
