I run a f16v3 with fpp on a pi. The show network is on a separate network from my home network. I can start the show through xscheduler. I have found that it won't shut off or I can not access the fpp ui after a few hrs to manually shut down the show. only a hard power shut-off stops the show. If I connect the show network to my home network and run the show eventually my home network crashes and goes offline. This happened last year and I got rid of my google wifi. The show schedule worked as planned last year. This year I'm using the tplink deco setup x20. It appears there maybe some excessive packet traffic that maybe the issue. I do not know how to track down the issue. There isn't anything I have found searching the internet that has given me any hope.

I am really just looking to get the show to turn off at the right time and to see what is causing the network to crash.

Typically you would not use both FPP and xschedule.  Having a hard time trying to decipher how your system is configured.

Please list all devices in play

FPP Pi (Which Pi version)
Falcon F16v3
Computer running xschedule (MAC/PC?)
Any other devices?

Please list the IP, subnet mask, and gateway setting for every device.  If you are using both the eth0 and wlan0 on the FPP pi, please list both interfaces separately.

my apologies it is not xscheduler. It is the scheduler on the pi with fpp The version of fpp is 6.2.
the ip address of the f16v3 in 192.168.0.50 the pi is 192.168.0.100. the subnet is 255.255.255.0 not using the wifi.

No other devices just the pi which controls a matrix and the f16v3 for everything else.

Is the pi running your matrix using Remote or Bridge mode?

I don't know what you mean. the pi is attached to a switch with an ethernet cable and then to the matrix. These are the settings in fpp for the matrix You cannot view this attachment.

How about a screen shot of E1.31/DDP..... setup page.

The Colorlight card requires 1gig network connection.
If the connection between your Player and Colorlight controller are on the same network as your show, it will Flood the network.
The player should have a separate network connection that is 1gig Directly connected to the colorlight controller.

I am a little confused at what you are saying. My raspberry pi with fpp is the player it connects to NETGEAR 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS305) which is connected to Tenda AC1200 Dual Band WiFi Router. Am I missing a hardware piece to pull the matrix off the show pi? Is that what you mean? I should have something that runs the show and then something that separately controls the show matrix?

Here is pic of the  E1.31/DDP
The matrix is at ip 192.168.4.100 which is the ip to the player also.

I am on my show network right now with the matrix off and have no issues.

You could use a USB Gig network adaptor to connect to your colorlight keeping the colorlight data from flooding your show network.

Thank you all. I picked up a usb network card and watched a video and have everything working I believe how it should be. I can access it via wifi on my home network and the matrix is on a dedicated connection to the pi.
