has any one have an issue with the Si4713 dropping out after awhile?  version: 4.1

The problem was repeatable:

At the end of the following log show when the FM transmitter fails to broadcast.  I'm not good at reading these logs.  If there is a better log please let me know.

 The event keeps going and if I plug in a headphone, I can hear the music playing.  But the Transmitter will not play!

Even If I use "Stop Now" and hit the "Play" button.....It's only after I restart the FPPD does it come back.

I'm sharing this to help others with a potential problem with the Si4713  and what the solution may be.

So after consulting with transmitter and antenna specialists, the problem lies in the PLL that the Si4713 has.  I turns out the the antenna wasn't grounded properly, and I was in fact getting a capacitive coupling from my iron chair backing and the transmitter.  Once the chair was removed or the antenna grounded properly, the problem went away.  

It has nothing to do with the software or the pie.  For $19.00 this transmitter is a great deal, but it can behave poorly if we don't take precautions.

Thank you for sharing! I just ordered one of those SI4713 transmitters so I can push out RDS data. How did you go about grounding the antenna properly?

Does that mean proximity to my metal mega tree pole could be causing me problems?
