I'm hoping to use a K64d-b to control a number of SRx1 receivers for my show this year.   I'm trying just to get a test mode on the K64 to work right now, but nothing lights up.  What combination of settings in FPP outputs and on the SRx1 is supposed to work?

The SRx1 lights the pixels in its local test mode.

The K64 has FPP 8.5.1 running on the BBB.  The on-board display and blue light works.  The cape appears in the webui with the right outputs. I currently have FPP set to "standard" with the SRx1 set to A and the terminators on.  I've tried all 4 differential receiver settings with the SRx1 on A, and I've also tried FPP set to standard and the SRx1 set to 0.  (I think I've tried other combinations of 0/A and "standard/Fv4v5.)   I've tried two different ethernet cables and both ports on the SRx1.  I also tried a different port on the K64.

What options are supposed to work?  The only docs I've found is a mention on the SRx1 product page on kulplights.com that says A-F should work.

Thanks
Bruce

Do you have any pixels configured on the String ports?
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

It seems to default to 100 pixels per port all starting at channel 1. I changed port 1 to 50 pixels and named it, but never found any difference.  I went through and set all the ports to different channels as well...

Ah, I found in another thread @JonD pointing out that the documentation for what the the SRx1 settings do is on the bottom.  Fortunately I have some more that aren't mounted on a board :) . That at least clarified what the dial should be vs FPP setting.  (though AFAIK there isn't much reason to prefer one over the other if I am not chaining receivers.)  But it didn't fix the problem.

But, having stopped getting twisted around what those settings should be, I reseated the BBB and that fixed it.  I'm guessing I didn't push it down all the way and couldn't see that looking at it from above.

On to actually building things...
