Ever since the FPP upgrade, all my Volume Set commands are not working in the Scheduler.   (and it's forcing me to make some tough choices about my Halloween show)   This used to work.

If I just change the volume, that's fine.  But if I go into the scheduler and select "Command", and then Volume Set (or Volume... anything, actually), it doesn't change the volume.  Even setting the command to run every 5 minutes doesn't work.  However, "Run Now" works, even from the scheduler.  Immediate volume commands always work.  Scheduled ones don't.  And it used to work in the old Falcon.

Resultingly, if I'm not there, the show's sound level in my neighborhood has to be the same at midnight as it is at 6pm.  Which is not good, since I have to choose quiet, and that means no one can hear it in the early evening.

Seems to be working for me.  How are you trying to schedule?

I scheduled on an FPP remote.   I wasn't having any sync problems.    Switching back to the master seems to work so far.

But at this point, the only reason I have to switch to the master is because the scheduler won't work on the remote.

bloojoop

that is correct.. by the very nature of the remote functionality, it will NOT process any schedules.  Also likely you wan the volume to be changed on the player anyway as that is typically where the sound is played from.

You could of course schedule your master to tell the remote to change its volume

darylc's suggestion worked for me as well.  Go to your remote and set up a couple of preset items.

Then from your Master tell the remote to play them.
