Neither do mine! LOL

Quote from: JonD on December 05, 2023, 12:23:21 PMIf it was off before and you corrected it, that is a good thing.
The problem is that it really wasn't broke before and I misunderstood the logic....But I still don't understand why I felt it was broken in the first place to feel that I needed to dig in the code.  ??? I don't go looking for code to fix, LOL

Quote from: LedMutt on December 05, 2023, 01:31:55 PMOne odd question, can I run a light show with two FPP players
Yes, but I doubt that is what you really want to do.

Quote from: LedMutt on December 05, 2023, 01:31:55 PMone to drive just the P5 Matrix and the other to drive all the pixel props?
Just to clarify, FPP has 2 modes Player and Remote
A player is a device that will send information to OTHER devices (or just itself) to tell them what to play and when to play it. A Remote is a device that is waiting for instructions to tell it what to do. So it is uncommon to have 2 players, but VERY common to have a player and multiple remotes.

Quote from: LedMutt on December 05, 2023, 01:31:55 PMand how to sync them..
There are 2 basic ways to sync them. You tell the Player what method you want to use, you can use one or the other method and even a combination of the 2.

One is by telling the Player to send sequence data (E1.31/DDP) to the remotes and then tell the remotes that they should be expecting this data.
The other is by telling the Player to send MultiSync data and then the remotes will need a copy of the sequences.

The FPP Manual has all of this explained and it might help?

Quote from: tristan on December 05, 2023, 02:54:41 PMI had mentioned running FPP Version 6.3
I didn't see that (I still don't see it LOL) And only one of your attachments came through. In order to post attachments, you have to go to the Reply, don't use the Quick Reply.

Quote from: tristan on December 05, 2023, 02:54:41 PMIs there a way to completely wipe the BBB and start from scratch?
Yes, remove the card and re-image it. But there is a way to reset all of the output configurations since that is what you messed up.

Quote from: tristan on December 05, 2023, 02:54:41 PMI had tried to reimage via SD and the SD is still in there but it looks like its booting from the internal memory.
You tried to re-image the card with it in the BeagleBone? That isn't the way to do it!

Quote from: tristan on December 05, 2023, 02:54:41 PMHi Im running a Hanson Electronics HE123 board.
If that is the controller you are using, why are you telling xLights that you are using a different controller? Like I mentioned, uploading the wrong controller configuration will cause those exact errors! The website you posted has the controller configurations you are supposed to use...here they are:
You cannot view this attachment.
I would suggest going into FPP Settings and on the UI Tab change the user level to advanced, then go to the system tab and all the way at the bottom select the Reset Configuration and select only the Channel output option.
Then set up xLights correctly for the controller you have and then upload the configuration. That should get you close.

That's what Multi-Sync does.

Quote from: Poporacer on December 05, 2023, 08:42:41 AMIt looks like my "fix" was based on bad logic....Sorry.
Joking aside... my vote (which does not count) is leaving it in the correct color order.   If it was off before and you corrected it, that is a good thing.  Despite his questionable favorite college sports team, K-State was not having issues and was just wondering why there was a difference! :)  Okay maybe not all joking aside! :)

xLights / Visualizer File
Last post by soundwave - December 05, 2023, 12:04:53 PM
Hey does anyone know the file where Xlights saves the Visualizer data in? i want to change a bunch of brightness levels and instead of doing it in the visualizer it would be cool to do it in an excel doc where i could do a quick find/replace. Would also be nice since when i move too fast through the visualizer it crashes on me.
