oh, sorry. No lockups. Ran test sequences for 12 hours.
Now it is waiting patiently for my MegaTree to get assembled.

I'm on the new firmware,  and noticed the last 4 pixels on each port did funky things ,or corrupted data. The fix was to add 5 pixels to the configuration page for each port. My controller also locks up when in test mode.

It may be a few days until I get Megatree strings connected to my F16v2Red but I'll check it again for Test Mode then. Using webpage and the onboard switch.  It has the latest firmware.

Has anyone got a copy of the USB firmware updater for F16V2 blue. I keep getting
404 - Attachment not found

when I try to get it from download page.

Sorry to be a thorn in everyone's side by bringing up this old thread.

Do any of you have good news or bad news with the updated firmware for the F16V2 boards over the Christmas season?

Going by the "slider" adjustment at the top, if you have no expansion board, it will do 1024.

Once you add an expansion board (and tell it you did), then you get to decide the max pixels on Main and Expansion. I have mine set at 512/512 though my longest string is 90.

Bo22 firmware was fine. Test mode locks up, which I don't use and the last 4 pixels on a few ports were acting funny so I added 5 pixels to the config and it went away. Minor flaws but better than the previous version. Plus 1000+ pixels per port!

Were you using 510 or 512 sizes for universes?  (the Falcons work just fine with 512. I've not seen that "last 4 pixel" problem but I don't run really long strands. 300 is my longest.)

I have 4 F16v2, 3 in the show, one in my workshop.  Never seen a hangup in testing nor any 4 pixel problem.  i do use 512 for everything.

I can't download the USB downloader either, it says:

I also need a copy of the USB firmware tool! Anybody have one they can share?

It's been a long time since I did any of this (over three years).   I just checked my F16V2 and it is at b022 update.  Is that up to date for the F16V2?  It looks like it based on posts, but figured I would ask the brain trust.  TIA.

That's what I'm still running. I think it is the latest but I'm not likely to upgrade. Working too well.  :D
