I am closing in on the end of my set budget for this year as expected.
I did manage to pickup early on some Lynx Express boards and they do work with the Dongle... I do not have the Wifi boards...

The question is, is there a way I can connect them to my new F16V4 and run my Standard LED icicle lights?
I could really use a mentor on this one!

The Lynx Express boards are DMX protocol and work perfectly from an F16v2, v3 or v4. Been doing it for several years. There are 3 DMX/LOR output jacks (black RS-485). Best bet is using the DMX 2 or DMX 3 jack, with the jumpers set to DMX, not LOR. There are configured on the Serial Outputs page. I'm looking specifically at the V3 since I have that manual handy.

I have the Falcon setup, a cat-5a over to the Lynx DMX-in port.
Should the Falcon auto-see the Lynx Express?
I also do not see the Lynx in XLights and not sure how to add it.

Try the port (on the right side of your picture) labeled DMX. The one with the Jumpers next to it.

No, the F16v4 will not "see" the Lynx Express but it will send a signal to it in test mode. Your Lynx Express looks like it is set with a Start Channel of 1 so that is what your Serial Port should be set for.

I don't own a V4 so I can't get too specific. Multiple V2 and V3 boards, though, and they've always been perfect at outputting DMX.

Thank you. I did move the Cat cable to the DMX port.
Once I set the falcon to Absolute addressing for the DMX, the test did send data to the Lynx controller.
By chance do you have a sequence I can use to do some testing and understand how to use this?
