F48 FW 2.52

Have a 10 panel matrix (33px24p, with a 32p strand around the matrix itself - 824 total ).  Each matrix has it's own receiver set up as follows:

Port 1 - 288 pixels
Port 2 - 288 pixels
Port 3 - 216 pixels
Port 4 - 32 pixels
Total - 824 pixels

I am currently running a show using a Raspberry Pi and everything works as expected.

However, I want to use the F48 in "standalone" mode and remove the Pi from the scenario.

I saved the sequence as a FSEQ1 file and copied them to a SD Card.  Set the playlist and scheduler up on the F48.  Went to play the show and not all of my prop lights up.  Appears that only 5-7 of my panels work.

As stated earlier, the show plays fine when using the Pi and FSEQ2 files.

Are there limitations on the F48 in standalone mode?

FW 2.52 is pretty old.  I would certain upgrade it to 2.59.  Make sure you follow the directions.  Backup the config, reset the controller, update the bootloader, then update the firmware.   There are limits using an SD card, but I have never used it that way and do not recall the particulars.

Think I may have found the culprit.  I just read that the F48 only supports the following in standalone mode:

Maximum Universes - 48
Maximum channels - 24576

Whereas the F48v4 supports many more.

Maybe someone knows something that I don't or have not found yet?  Here's to hoping!!

Most people would strongly recommend you use the pi rather than the F48 in standalone mode.
