I've been growing my LOR display for the past 3 years but am planning to switch to F16v4 + F48v4 + xLights when the boards are purchasable again.  I'll be patching the previous LOR network into the ethernet switch for the Falcon boards.  But I'll still want to eke out some value from my Pixie8 & 7 Pixie2s.

I'm confused about what I need to make this work.  Will the F16v4 be able to provide a LOR network for the Pixies, do I need additional hardware, or am I missing something else?

Falcon supports standard DMX protocol, but does not speak LOR.  Most LOR hardware supports both LOR and DMX protocols and you can typically still use LOR controllers in DMX mode, but the Pixie8 does not support DMX.   It does not appear that you can connect the Pixie8 to the Falcon.

You could use a PixieLink Ethernet E1.31 adapter from LOR that converts ethernet e1.31 to LOR RS-485, or possibly continue to use the USB adaptor that came with your Light-O-Rama system.
