Trying to setup my Falcon f16v4.
I have 2 x 100 pixel string that I'd like t string together under one port.

I connect to it's web interface. I am setting up the output settings, pixel outputs.
I choose Port 1 Start Universe 1, Start Channel 1, Pixel Count 100.
Then I press + to do the next string. Start universe 1, Start Channel 301, Pixel Count 100.
But it gives me an error " Network incomplete frames hit 250. Network or configuration issue is likely."

When I try to test a sequence via xlight, it only lights up about 167 of the 200 pixels. I feel like it is limiting me but everything I read says it should handle 1000 pixels in one port.

What am I doing wrong?

Could it be 170 lights instead if 167?  170 lights x3 channels is 510 channels.  There can only be 512 channels in a universe.

200 pixels equals 600 channels, which do not fit within a single universe.  You can run 1000 pixels off of one port, but you can't do it with only one universe.   Sounds like it is not rolling over into Universe 2.  Is that configured somewhere else?

Not a problem

You don't define outputs by strings. The controller could care less about how you are connecting strings together, you just need to enter the total number of pixels that the port is going to control. In your case set port 1 Pixel count to 200 and you are done.

If you are using xLights, then you should let xLights configure your controller for you. That way there will be no mistakes. Did you configure the inputs on the F16?

Like I said, let xLights do all the work for you.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

There are a lot of advantages to letting xlights manage things for you.  Especially for beginners just getting into the hobby.  With that said, there are several valid reasons to continue using universes, and if you are using software such as LOR or Vixen it is required.

Just had the same issue, the fix...after changing network cabling and hardware config, was to turn off the wifi since I had a wired connection.
