Howdy, anyone have any documentation that explains in details how the ID Selection works. I've been scouring the internet for hours but have not found anything substantial.

You configure like you would a single.  If you configure it as A, it will be A+B  If you configure it C, it will be C+D.  You might be able to look at the back and it will display the settings.  The normal smart receiver directions are included in the F16v4 manual.  F16v4 Manual

A question on the dual receivers.  Can I daisy chain them.  So I have an F48V4.  Can I go from Port 1-4 on the F48 to a dual receiver and have that 1-4 a and 1-4b  and then come off of that receiver to another dual smart receiver and have that as 1-4c and 1-4d.,  I guess I'm confused on if and how to daisy chain the dual smart receivers and the settings.  I'm assuming in my above scenario the first dual receiver would be set as A and the second dueal receiver would be set at c???

I don't own one of these, but the v4 series will support 6 receivers.  I would think you could use QTY 3 dual port receivers in chain.  a/b c/d e/f  Only the last device in the chain should be terminated.  Everything in front should be set to termination off.

I daisy chained two SRx2 v4.00 duel smart receivers together but the daisy chain isn't working. I have the first duel receiver going to ports 1-4 in my F48V4 NS with the receiver dial as A / term switches off and set up as 1A-4A and 1B-4B like a normal smart receiver.  Then I have it daisy chained another duel receiver with dial set as A and term switches are on.  Set up as 1-4C and1-4D.  The first duel receiver works fine but the 2nd one doesn't work.  A couple of questions for the architect of these. 1.  Which set of 4 ports is the first receiver on the duel, left or right?  2.  The termination switch says middle receiver under it.  There's two receivers so which one is middle?  Do all the switches need to be up or down or only certain ones?  3.  Is there a firmware update for these receivers.  There's an option to update all SRx2 receivers on the board but where is there a firmware file?  I thought the duel was a great idea and would be simple but it would be nice to have some documentation for the board.
