Aha!  I knew it.  My modules are 16x16 1/16 scan.  The 32x16 setting is possibly what is causing the overlap.  I've posted pictures of my settings.  See if they work for you.  Changing the DCLK setting and refresh rate will change the allowable cabinet sizes.  17.9MHz and 1920 refresh were the lower limit for my matrix, but it got me to cabinet size I needed.

You need to turn on the Advanced level UI.   On the Audio tab, a few new items will appear, one of them being the Audio Channel Layout.

Currently, that will be used for ALL audio so if you don't use a 7.1 audio for some songs, you may need to use Audacity or something to re-encode those into a 7.1 file.

No, it's a configuration issue. I had the same overlap when I was assembling the big matrix for the first time.  I just don't remember what I did to fix it.  It may be the cabinet size setting.  The card may think it is running a matrix equal to the size parameters set there and keeps outputting data to fill the cabinet.  I'll pull up LEDVision when I get to the office and see if my parameters are still set.  Probably what I should have done in the first place.

Falcon Player (FPP) / Multi Channel Audio
Last post by info@trans-mission.tv - Today at 08:52:01 AM
Hi I was wondering how do I set up FFP to play multi channel audio?
I have a Pi4 setup with a audio de-embedder and I can use 'speaker-test' to get 8 channels of pink noise but how do I get FPP to play audio/video files back without decoding down to stereo?
Would it be better/easier to use a multi channel USB sound card?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Cheers
Steve

Just food for thought.  The overlap may be due to the matrix beinq quite small.  As Kensington Graves photo shows, there should be "LED1" in each corner and the middle.  Because the matrix is so small, the "LED1" in the upper left corner would overlap with the "LED1" in the upper right corner - as seen.  The "LED1" in the middle and the color circles appear to be correct.  The size of the text in comparison to the color circles appears to match the way it is on Kenington's photo.
Note, I make no claim to being a LEDVision expert.  I only used colorLight cards one year and only were able to configure them with assistance on the Zoom room.

Did you use a .rcvp file supplied by your vendor?  I seem to recall that I exactly the same problem in LEDVision when using the vendor-supplied file.  The tell-tale is cabinet setting.  You'll need to mess around with the settings until you hit the right combination.

Try changing the module to 32x32 and 1/16 scan in LEDVision.  The test pattern looks like you're getting horizontal overlap, which suggests that the width setting on the panel size is incorrect.  You may have to manually adjust some other settings.  The test pattern should like like the picture I attached—no overlap at all.

Falcon F16v1 / Re: Wifi help
Last post by dkulp - June 04, 2023, 12:24:56 PM
Some of the Eero's use the 192.168.8.x network which FPP reserves for the Wifi tether stuff.      You may need to flip the eero over to 192.168.1.x or similar.

Falcon F16v1 / Wifi help
Last post by rkdonoho123@gmail.com - June 04, 2023, 11:30:11 AM
I have a Pie running the latest Falconer player. I recently switch internet providers and now have a eero 6 network.
The pi connects fine with the land connection but I cannot get it to connect through wifi anymore. I said and password are the same as before. I updated the settings in falcon. I cannot even ping the network. Everything else works fine over wifi smart switches, laptop, phone, tv etc.
Can anyone provide some help?

I have some 32x32 P5 panels that I configure as though they are two 32x16 panels.  Works just fine  My panels are at least 5 years old and I am using a Pi and
one of the original Pi hats that were available back then..

Designer Troubleshooting and Help / Re: MMAL error 2 "ENOSPC"
Last post by MikeKrebs - June 03, 2023, 09:34:36 PM
Did you resolve this? If so, which was it (driver problem, cable problem, video problem, gpu memory problem, camera problem, other)?

FPP is designed to be headless. What are you using the screens for?
