How can I play one random playlist, selected from a playlist of playlists?

Hopefully that subject makes sense. I have a half dozen playlists or so that each have multiple sequences in them, no, nested. I run my show every 15 minutes and I'd like FPP to pick ONE playlist, at random, from that larger array to play. Then do it again every quarter hour.

I found this older thread https://falconchristmas.com/forum/index.php?topic=12126.msg113963#msg113963 and grabbed the script from @CaptainMurdoch 's reply, but nothing seems to happen. Maybe it's because FPP has gone through a lot more upgrades since then (for example: there is no 'wait for completion' checkbox). I don't know enough about shell scripts to determine what, if anything, is happening when I run the script, though I checked the logs and didn't see anything tracing back to the script. Is there an established way to do this?

Under Playlist /Command choose Start Playlist at Random Item

Thanks, but this only sort of works. Each of the embedded playlists has multiple items (intro, main song, outro, script, etc). This command does a random item from the compiled list of everything - so sometimes it JUST does an intro or just does the script at the end.
