I have an interesting case.

I want to have the real-time status of 3 'floodlights' I have added in Xlights.

There are virtual floodlights, but I don't really have them. However, I want to use their status to control some lights in Home Assistant.

Depending on the state of that virtual floodlight, I want to set the state & color of some Zigbee outdoor lights connected to my Home Assistant.

I have FPP 9.3 running, and 2 Falcon F16v5. I've linked the 3 floodlights to 1 unused port on one of de F16.
I've tried the API, with FPP, but that doesn't show the real-time status anymore. ChatGPT mentioned websockets, but I had no luck with it.
Has anyone done something similar?

I tried the MQTT connector, but when I check those MQTT records, nothing changes.
Only when I change the status of that entity in HA, the MQTT status updates, but not the other way around.
