Does FPP include an operating NTP server?

The NTP server would not be an http URL.  It should just be the ip address.

Thanks, Dan.  Forgot to mention I've tried it that on other devices, but for consistency in trouble-shooting on these 2 devices, I'll go back and do the same thing there.

Interesting.  I wonder why it worked.  :|
I'll go back and change them.

Still no dice.  Hours later, they still weren't updated.  Also saw something weird with a couple of the 6.1.1 devices (one was a remote; one was the master), where the clock reset to a date in September as the show finished.  While it may have been a pure coincidence, I deleted the player IP address from the NTP entry on the remotes.  I had seen the time reset on the remote device another time recently, but I chalked it up to a power cycle.  Nothing obvious in the logs to say what happened.  At least, not obvious to me.

Player is a Pi4.  Remotes are Pi3B.

Going to monitor the behavior regularly over the next few days to see if the time reset repeats.  Meanwhile, I have a few RTCs on order to use on the few devices that need the correct time.

I have been watching this thread as I have seen the same issue.
Digging deeper it "seems" ntp server is Not running on these machines.

using SSH and looking at /etc/ntp.config

# If you want to provide time to your local subnet, change the next line.
# (Again, the address is an example only.)
#broadcast 192.168.123.255

The # would need to be removed from the broadcast line as this is a Rem Statment.
then the .123. would need to be changed to the correct subnet for your network.

Then there is the ability to monitor the ntp status thru a log file.

# Enable this if you want statistics to be logged.
#statsdir /var/log/ntpstats/

again, remove the # at the #statsdir line.
