Falcon player dynamic tempo from some kind of input. How would I go about it?

Hi, I don't know if this has been asked before. I made a setup for a pub before and it went really well. The problem was that they were initially expecting dj's to also play with the lights from time to time, and of course that did not happen.

 I want to make a setup so that the falcon player grabs tempo info straight from the audio feed, or maybe virtualdj can output that info? I'm a bit lost, has anyone done this before or can point me in the right direction?

I have seen FPP plugins that will play music/music streaming before and after the light show, but not aware of anything for FPP that would play a tempo to the lights.  I am sure someone will jump in and correct me if something is out there.

I have seen FPP plugins that will play music/music streaming before and after the light show, but not aware of anything for FPP that would play a tempo to the lights.  I am sure someone will jump in and correct me if something is out there. 

Do you know if there is a plugin that runs a global tempo on all sequences? The way I see it play in my head is that there would be like 10 sequences that rotate all night and they just react to what the dj is playing.

I have not seen any tempo related add-ons for FPP.  FPP does not analyze audio files nor does it generate lighting effects that I am aware of.  It merely schedules and plays sequences that have already been created by something else such as xlights.  FPP is geared around Christmas lighting and I rarely see DJ requests in this forum.  You might try asking this question in a DJ forum as well to see if they have any suggestions.

Thanks for replying. That actually solves my doubts. I'm just scheduling all the sequences.

FPP does have the base WLED effects built in to generate effects on the fly.   There is an audio reactionary fork of WLED that I wanted to look at at some point to see if the FPP stuff could be update.  I've just never had the time to really dig into it.
