BBB48String: Could not read pin configuration for F8-B-EXP-32

Kulp F8-B - preconfigured SD card.    New guy, I've had my controller for 2 days and already bricked it.

From xLights controller setup I set "Auto Upload Configuration" and then hit button "Upload Output".  

FPP no longer working, getting error:
Abnormal Conditions - May Cause Poor Performance
BBB48String: Could not read pin configuration for F8-B-EXP-32
BBBSerial: Could not read pin configuration for F8-B-EXP-32
Could not initialize output type BBB48String. Check logs for details.
Could not initialize output type BBBSerial. Check logs for details.

I believe xLights messed up my configuration within FPP.  
The question is how to fix it?
How do I check logs?
Can i fix it or do i look at reimaging?

Are you sure it is an F8-B? What does it say on the board itself? The F8's are an older version and since you are new, I have a feeling that you don't really have an F8?

From xLights controller setup I set "Auto Upload Configuration" and then hit button "Upload Output".  

Auto Upload Configuration will upload your controller configuration when you click on the Output to lights in xLights, BUT most of the time you probably do not need to keep uploading your configurations. If you are going to manually upload your configurations (Recommended) then un-check the Auto Upload Configuration.

I believe xLights messed up my configuration within FPP.  

xLights will only do what YOU tell it to do, 
xLights probably didn't mess up your configuration, you told xLights to mess it up....LOL

You probably have the wrong controller type set in xLights...That is a common mistake that people make.
How about a screenshot of your Controller page in xLights? (a screenshot please and not a picture of your screen)

The question is how to fix it?

Depending on what you actually broke, sometimes you can go to the Input/Output Settings>Channel Outputs and then go to the pixel strings tab and simply save your settings...

If that doesn't work, let us know, depending on the answers to the above questions, the path to recovery will be different.

How do I check logs?

You might want to look at the FPP Manual...at this point it probably won't do you any good to look at the logs.

It can be fixed....Re-imaging might be quicker, but if you don't identify what caused the problem, you will be in the same boat....
Letting xLights manage your controllers is highly recommended!

If you actually have a K8-B and accidently configured xlights as F8-B and uploaded output, this will cause this message.  If that is all true, then just select the proper Kulp controller such as K8-B (or your actual controller) and upload output again and it should correct this issue.

I feel pretty stupid.  I was doing configuring F8, but I have an K8.  But, so happy it is an easy fix.  thanks so much, you are the best.
