Number of days to Christmas isn't updating why? Specifically number of days till Xmas actually time isn't changing either

What are you using for your Countdown? xLights Text effect? If so, that is not a dynamic countdown. The better option is the FPP Plugin Simple Countdown

Nah it was always static and set in stone at the time the sequence was rendered

Ok Got the pluggin configured but how do you associate it with specific sequences in a playlist

Not quite sure what your definition of "associate" means. Do you want a sequence to trigger the Countdown. Do you just want it to start at a certain place in your playlist? It is all covered in the FPP Manual

Thanks I've looked but it's like saying its somewhere in the dictoonary its not obvious where to look from the index can you give me a clue, appreciate it

You didn't explain what your definition of "associate" meant. So that is like saying it is somewhere in the dictionary. Not sure how to give you an accurate clue without knowing what you are trying to do.

I thought I had it figured out. But still can't get it to work with in a sequence. so I want it to display on my mega tree while other props are play effects to the sequence if possible play  play the simple count down on the mega tree while other effects are playing on the mega tree. I've tried creating an FPP timing track but not sure how to put the Simple Countdown-run command on the mega tree

I thought I understood this but no matter what I try nothing works. Trying to display this on mega tree but not working. Tried creating a playlist just for this With Simple Countdown-Run and a Pause no luck nothing shows up on

You will need to configure a Command Preset.
