F16v1 Voltages

I'm wondering if someone can tell me if it is possible to connect 24V to bank power that doesn't supply power to the onboard logic.

I would check the manual, but I'm having trouble accessing the downloads for the F16v1. I get 404 errors when I click on the link after the ones shown below.

 I lost all of my manuals and software for the F16v1 when my main hard drive crashed a couple of years ago.  The disappointing aspect was the hard drive that the backup software used failed two weeks prior the computer hard drive failed while I was waiting to get a NAS.

When I used the 24V floods with my F16v1, I had 3 power supplies in the case including two 12V and one 24V.  The two 12V fed the F16v1 inputs and I injected 24V power right inside the case for the pigtail that went out to the floods.  The data and ground on the pigtail went to the F16v1 and I also connected grounds between the F16v1 and 24V power supply.  I marked that 24V pigtail extra well to make sure that I never plugged anything else into it by accident.

Thanks for the reply.  I'll do the same. 

I was trying to cheat and not put an inline fuse on the 24V power supply output by using the "spare" bank on the F16v1 I plan on using.  I currently only have 3 total ports used, so I have an unused bank.

A separate fuse is the safest way to go.
