I think I remember David or someone telling me that the 16v3 can do 1024 pixels per port*. However. the default setup is only setup for 32 universes.
How many universes can be safely added before data corruption occurs?
I did add 32 (total of 64 now) (attachment 1) and there are no RED lines are other errors, but I want to make sure that the board will support the 64 universes and not just decide to say "I'm not playing anymore" in the middle of the display season.

he mentioned a sw update (I have the latest version installed) ver 2.59

Total Max. Number of Nodes per Port
Main Board Max. Number of Nodes per Port
(Ports 1 to 16)
Expansion Board 1 Max. Number of Nodes per Port
(Ports 17 to 32)
Expansion Board 2 Max. Number of Nodes per Port
(Ports 33 to 48)

If using an expansion board you will need to adjust the slider accordingly.  If you add an expansion board, it will not support 1024 pixels any longer, as it robs Peter to pay Paul.
