I am running 3.6.2 and just installed it.  Seems to be running fine on my Halloween display.

I did another update, here are the changes:

• Fixed scenario where song index gets skewed if there are 'lead in' songs.
• Fixed tooltips for settings
• Added platform configs so the plugin can get merged into the default falcon plugin list (https://github.com/FalconChristmas/fpp-pluginList/pull/2)

This plugin is great and simple to set up and use.  Thanks for all the hard work!  I did have one question to see if it is possible to add.  Can the service auto-restart after a reboot?  Maybe I can use a script to fire it when my show starts if it is not running already?  I typically leave my pi up and running all season, but occasionally I do reboot for one reason or another.  Would be nice to have it auto start since I would probably forget.

Updated the plugin so it can now auto-start after reboot!

It also allows certain background images to be picked (Halloween pumpkins for now, Happy Halloween!) and also fixed a bug when the plug is first started.

Please uninstall and reinstall for the update to work properly.

Thanks for the plugin! I love it. However it seems users can vote multiple times. They should only be able to vote once. is this something you can fix?

Yes I should have the duplicate votes fixed here by the end of the week. I'm working on some more customization on the web page along with some bug fixes, I should have that done in the next day or so - right after that my next focus will be preventing duplicate votes.

Did another update tonight - allowing us to further customize the voting page

• Allow background / gradient colors to be picked
• Allow header font colors to be picked (revamping voting buttons soon!)
• Nativity background image option
• Snowman background image options with and without gloves
• Fixed the bug where the gradient wouldn't go to the bottom of the screen on some devices

I'll start working on only allowing one person to vote at a time.

You should be able to update the plugin though the plugin manager. When you to update, be sure to stop and then start the voting service again!

• Reworked the buttons so they are much easier to read and look nicer
• Now preventing duplicate votes!

Noticing it mainly on portable devices, but some people are getting gateway timeout errors when trying to vote or the page would just keep trying to load.  We had no problems when we were testing from the PC, but every now and then on iPhone and android devices it would give the error.  I am running FPP 3.6.2 still if that matters.
I also like the idea of tracking votes.  My wife was asking me what song was the most requested.
We opened it up to the public last night with great success!

I did see a bunch of requests yesterday, but the server should have been able to handle it based off of the server cpu, disk, and memory usage. Thank you for reporting the gateway timeout errors! There is some adjustments I need to make to prevent that from happening.

I'll see what I can get done on the song metrics, if not this season than definitely next!

This time of year my family tries to promote a charity.   It would be a great feature, if I could add some HTML to render a donate button or simply a link.  This year we are promoting https://water.cc/ - a charity that drills water wells for communities that do not have clean water.   Thanks for considering.

I did notice there was some additional errors being thrown on the server I'm excited for the interest, but would rather keep the server code private for now. Curious what kind of features you are looking to add? I'd love to collaborate and make it happen!

I'm so glad it has been fun! I've been considering allowing this, there is some risk to allowing raw HTML be rendered on a site - but I think there are some safe ways to do this. Stay tuned!
