Lag with DMX on K8-B

Hi,
So I am trying to figure out why there is Lag on the DMX signal coming from ttsy1 on my K8-B. I have a DMX transmitter used for light up bracelets. When I run the sequence from xlights (output to lights) there is significant lag (2-4 sec) to the bracelet. The controller is hardwired to the computer. Just for giggles, I hooked up a F16v4 and used the DMX output from that and there was no Lag to the bracelets. I am running 6.2 FPP and tried ttys1 and ttsy2 using DMX open. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you send a screenshot of your F16v4 and K8-B port configs. I'd like to see something.

I doubt this will do anything, but just for the heck of it, change your channel count to 512 and see if anything changes. I've seen strange behavior with specific devices when sending less than 512 channels (a full universe) to it.

rayster

Also have you tried DMX-Pro for output type?

DMX Open should work fine. I've used it for all of my DMX devices without issue, including my bracelets transmitter.

Ok so I tried changing to 512 to no avail. It's strange that when I plug the cat5 into anyone of my f16v3 or f16v4 it works as it should. I am going to try my k16 and k32 this weekend. I am using orange/white to + and orange to - and not using a ground.

@tucsonlights, that's really a strange issue. You can try what @rayster suggested and see? I've never had to do that on any of my kulp controllers though, for any DMX devices. Also, I've only ever run two wire connections.
