Servo/arduino mega

I'm trying to not have to buy anything and I have an old arduino mega and a digital servo rds3230 if that means anything that could be explained to me. Is it possible to use xlights to control the servo with just the arduino and how on Earth do I make it happen? I've been trying to find any helpful information for over a week through xlights, arduino, and the general internet, but have had no luck. If you either know how or could point me to the right place, it would be greatly appreciated.
