I noticed in code someone had put in some possible usb mounting changes/additions in 8. Might this end up supporting nvme in the future? I Have a new pi5 (yes I know not yet supported) that has the ribbon to an m2 m key nvme (pcie, not sata).

This was brought up in the water cooler about 3 years ago stating it wasn't probably something people would do yet, but now that it's more supported in pi5, would love to give it a spin. I think it could bring room for bigger/better plugins and speed.

*waits for people to run in and tell me how ridiculously over the top this would be for FPP*!

We added NVME support to FPP 8.  The easiest way is to install via SD card then migrate to NVME.
