Gerry, from your P10 configuration page, I would have assumed "bottom right" but it seems that xlights prefers top left. I was perhaps lucky when I set my 3x3 P10 in a top left wiring.

The xLights and FPP Pixel Overlay model definitions will always be horizontal matrix starting at top-left with 1 strand per string.  The panels themselves are a top-left configuration, so I didn't put in logic to flip that upside down or let users choose any other orientation.

Thanks Captain

I started off with the bottom right, because whilst trawling through earlier posts , I thought that was what had to be done for the pixel overlay model with the config I had (Top left was the 4th option I tried :) ).

For the xlights  sequences I had set the model to top left because someone on the xlights forum said that was how it had to be defined within xl (so that worked straight away).

Hi Chris

Thanks Chris, it's a bit of info I had not knowingly read before but must have based on the nudge below. :)

Nudge Nudge, big push...... you did promise in another thread to throw in the logic to flip the panels for bottom up rows to cater for Vixen 3 people were Vixen defaults all matrix layouts to bottom left and need to be reverse patched to function correctly.

Cheers
Phil

That must have been Private Murdoch, not CaptainMurdoch. :)  OK, you reminded me.  I made a note in my short-term TODO list so it will make it in in the next month or so hopefully.
