I want to downgrade my FPP from V7.2 to 6.3 how do I achieve this.

Poporacer

Is there a reason that you want to downgrade?
7.2 is not the most current version and if you hare having issues, it was likely fixed in the newer versions.
A direct downgrade using the fppos method has not been tested and should work, but you might just have to re-image your SD card. But I HIGHLY suggest looking at your reason for downgrading before you go that route.

I want to have all of my units working on the same rev. All of the others are 6.3 and they give me no trouble. Keep getting error messages on 7.2 so bad that I am thinking of throwing unit away.

What are the error messages?
The developers have improved the error reporting quite a bit over the releases and yes, you might get an error on 7.5 that you didn't get on 6.3, but that isn't because there was no error on 6.3, it was that 6.3 didn't report them. They keep putting in error messages when there are common problems to help the user figure out why their FPP isn't running as they expect it to run.

Definitely give a try moving up to 7.5 first.   Dropping to 6.x is likely not a good option as xLights will likely stop supporting 6.x in the upcoming months (when 8.0 is released) so if you are using xLights to push config/sequences, you need to start getting all the units updated to the latest, not held back on 6.3.

Are you using an HE123 controller?
If so, many of those boards had a bad EEPROM firmware that needs to be updated to work with the newer versions.

And, what did the logs say? Can you post the fppdlog? Post as an attachment.

I will try today BUT I am 81 and know very little.

Well... it SHOULD be as easy as going to the Cape Info page in FPP, EEPROM Upgrade tab, and selecting the Vendor/Board/Version and hitting Upgrade.   However, Hanson doesn't apparently want to do any work at all to make it easier for his users/customers so it's going to be a bit of work.
